- Just as the heat from Eedris Abdulkareem’s explosive interview about Burna Boy was simmering down, his remarks on his former group, The Remedies, sparked another round of verbal fireworks.
- Tony Tetuila and Eddy Montana didn’t hold back, threw shade at their ex bandmate, accused him of spinning lies and being downright treacherous during their time together.
Veteran Nigerian rapper Eedris Abdulkareem appears to have stirred up old wounds among his former group members, Tony Tetuila and Eddy Montana, who have both stepped forward to address his recent comments concerning their shared history.
In a recent interview with media personality Nedu Wazobia on the Honest Bunch podcast, Eedris delved into several subjects, covering his clash with 50 Cent, his surgery, the story of how he met his former label boss Kenny Ogungbe, the dissolution of his former group, The Remedies, amongst others.
In explaining how he and Eddy Montana met Tony Tetuila, Eedris claimed that after Kenny Ogungbe signed them to Kennis Music, they bumped into Tetuila at a music event. Eedris said Tetuila allegedly pleaded with them to form a trio.
In response, Tony Tetuila posted a video on his social media page showing him berating Eedris Abdulkareem while watching him on TV, and accused Eedris of lying about how he joined The Remedies group.

Also, Eddy Montana, once a close ally of Eedris and ex-member of The Remedies hip-hop group, engaged in a detailed conversation with media personality Daddy Freeze, addressing all of Eedris Abdulkareem’s statements about him in the interview.
Montana vividly recalled how Eedris allegedly appropriated and claimed ownership of his song, and how Eedris despite reportedly amassing over 100 million naira at that time, refused to extend financial support to him during his challenging times.
Expressing his disdain, Montana resorted to using derogatory language to describe his former friend, branding him as treacherous, and urged people to disregard Eedris’ narrative.
