Nigerian singer, Tony Tetuila has disclosed his interest in collaborating with Afrobeats and dancehall sensation Burna Boy for the remix of his 2001 hit track, ‘My Car’.
The former member of the defunct music group, The Remedies, shared his aspirations during an interview with online personality Daddy Freeze.
Tony Tetuila expressed his admiration for Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, who is not only a Grammy award nominee but has also won a Grammy award.
In the interview, Tetuila conveyed his profound respect for Burna Boy and the innovative direction he has steered Afrobeats towards.
He went on to reveal his intention to collaborate with the ‘African Giant’ on the remix of ‘My Car’, a song that resonated with audiences across Nigeria and beyond in the early 2000s.
Tetuila expressed his enthusiasm for Burna Boy’s music as he pointed out the impact of the new generation of singers on the music scene.

“I wan work with that boy. I am working on ‘My Car’ remix and I want Burna Boy. I love him. I love all these guys. Do you know what they have taken the music to? I love what that guy is doing. I listen to his songs always in my car.”
