Laide Bakare and Portable in war of words on social media


Controversial street singer,  Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has tackled actress turned politician Laide Bakare for dragging his mother into their fight and calling him a “dirty boy.”

The drama started when Portable reacted to Laide’s appointment as senior special adviser to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke on entertainment, tourism arts and culture.

In the comment section of her post, Portable who was recently robbed of his valuables called Laide a crazy person writing in Yoruba, “Adopo.com Iyani ni werey.”

Laide also fired back at the musician, saying that she would not tolerate any nonsense from him. She wrote:

“Omoofo.com Oni ku re. I will not spare you for co mingh to my page to rant nonsense. It’s your own mother’s mother that is werey. Awon Iyalaye e lon ba wi.”

Reacting, Portable took to his Instagram story in response to call out the actress, claiming that she has been sending him messages and begging him to attend her birthday party. He said in pidgin English:

“You wey be say you enter my DM, dey beg me make I send my Whatapp number. Na me you dey call dirty ball wey you dey beg for DM. Do you remember that dirty boy from Sango wey you dey beg for DM say make him come your birthday make him come your event. I didn’t show up, I billed you instead.

Do you remember the day we jam for party, na you hug me.”

Portable also threatened to expose the messages Laide sent to her if she does not delete them.
