Fomer BBNaija winner, Phyna, has shared her stance on financial independence in relationships, disclosing that she has never been in a relationship with a rich guy.
The reality star shared her views on financial independence in relationships during an interview with Naija 102.7 FM.
Despite her newfound fame and success, Phyna revealed that she has never dated a man wealthier than herself and is not swayed by material wealth.
During the interview, Phyna emphasized her commitment to genuine connections over financial benefits.
Phyna went on to disclose that she has always been financially supportive in her relationships, even before gaining recognition on the reality TV show.
Phyna shared insights into a recent encounter where she turned down a proposition from a male fan who offered her N5 million to spend the night with him.
The reality TV star clarified that she does not engage in “runs.
In her words;
“These were my reasons for turning down the rowdy fan’s N5m offer for sxx: Number one, I don’t do runs. I can’t date someone just because he bought me a car. I prefer to date genuinely. We will be friends.
“As a matter of fact, I have never dated a man who is richer than me. Even before I won the Big Brother Naija show, I didn’t date any rich guy. I have always been hard working even while in school. In my previous relationships, I have always been the one supporting financially. No man has really lavished money on me in a relationship.”
