“The backlash you have received from people gets to me” – Seyi Law sends message to Eedris Abdulkareem

Seyi Law offers support to Eedris abdulkareem amidst different online backlash

Comedian Seyi Law has taken to social media to address the recent misunderstanding he had with veteran rapper Eedris Abdulkareem, while offering him support, following heavy backlash from different individuals these past days.

In a heartfelt message, Seyi Law expressed how the backlash he (Eedris abdulkareem) has received from different people has affected him.

Despite their differences, he acknowledged the impact their disagreement has had on their relationship.

Taking to Instagram, he claimed that he never had a side conversation with him concerning the accusation he made against him in his previous interview.

He suggested that Eedris may have misconstrued his jokes.

However, that doesn’t stop him from feeling sorry for him because of the backlash he has experienced from other people.

With best wishes, he pointed out that mistakes are inevitable and expressed the hope that others would forgive him.

Egbon, @abdulkareemeedris, God knows that I never had a side discussion with you about what you said. Maybe you misunderstood my jokes. I don’t know, but the backlash you have received from different people kind of gets to me, and I just want to wish you well.

Nobody is infallible to mistakes, and I just hope people will let things go. It is love and light from me to you.

God bless you, Egbon, and keep you strong” he wrote.

In another news, Seyi Law assures Nigerians that the Cost of governance will reduce .

Comedian Seyi Law has said he is currently in Abuja to speak with the Nigerian government about the economic hardship and ways to bring relief.

Seyi Law said this in an Instagram post on Tuesday, February 20, amid backlash over his support for President Biola Tinubu.

He said:

“My fellow Nigerians, I laugh not at your pains and I know there’s a lot of hardship right now. The fact that I supported a different candidate from you isn’t to spite you, but out of my belief that my candidate will achieve a better Nigeria. I am here with you in Nigeria, and I am not alien to your angers, which is justified. I swear I truly feel your pain, but I am optimistic. I can’t abandon a government that I voted for. I can only join them to bring relief to Nigerians.”

“I am currently in Abuja, and I am talking with some people in the government. My efforts might not mean much to you now, but I am praying it brings hope to your hearts again. The cost of governance will reduce, minimum wage will increase, and food affordability will improve.”
