- Rita Edochie stated that she is May’s mother even if she didn’t exactly give birth to her. She added that she’d always support her no matter what, and would never let anyone look down on her.
Actress Rita Edochie has revealed why she keeps supporting May Edochie, the first wife of her husband’s nephew Yul Edochie even though May is not her biological daughter.
Rita has faced backlash from critics over her continuous involvement in Yul Edochie’s marriage saga but continues to drum support for his first wife.
Explaining the reasons for her action, Rita Edochie in an Instagram post said she will never leave May Edochie alone and will stand against anyone who drags her.
She wrote:
“JUST LIKE THE MOTHER HEN WILL ALWAYS SPREAD HER LEGS, TRYING TO PROTECT HER CHICKS FROM THE RAIN AND HARSH SUN, I WILL EVEN DO MORE FOR MY DAUGHTER QUEEN MAY YUL EDOCHIE.
“TO THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE INSISTING THAT I SHOULD LEAVE QUEEN MAY YUL EDOCHIE ALONE WITH REASONS OF HER NOT BEING MY DAUGHTER, AND TO THOSE OF YOU WHO ALSO THINK YOU CAN LOOSE YOUR GUARDS AGAINST HER, THINKING SHE DOESN’T HAVE A MOTHER, I WANT YOU ALL TO NOTE THAT I AM HER MOTHER, NEVER WILL I LEAVE HER ALONE, SHE IS MY DAUGHTER AND I WILL ALWAYS STAND AGAINST ANYONE WHO WON’T LET HER BREATHE.
“I RITA EDOCHIE, THE IJELE, THE FEAR THAT FEAR FEARS, NTI RUBBER, ALUSI AGBA OTO EFE WILL DEAL THE HECK OUT OF ANYONE MAKING HIS OR HERSELF AN OPPONENT TO QUEEN MAY. ANYTHING FOR MY DEAREST DAUGHTER QUEEN MAY YUL EDOCHIE.
