I recieve death threats for my social media comments – Daniel Regha

Daniel Regha opens up to Ebuka Obi Uchendu on the threats he has been receiving over his controversial comments on social media

Daniel Regha, a popular social media critic, has disclosed that he has received death threats over his constant remarks on X.

Daniel Regha revealed this on the most recent episode of Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s show ‘Rubbin’ Minds’ on Channels Television.

He claimed he had to disguise himself while out in public to avoid social media adversaries identifying him and carrying out their threats.

He said:

Whenever I stepped out of the house, I’m always on nose mask because I don’t know who I am going to meet in public and would be like, ‘Finally, I’ve caught you.’

“I get threats a lot. Of recent, some people told me that they are going to shoot me if they see me in Lagos, Ibadan or Benin. They even put R.I.P emojis, some even put guns and axes. It’s scary sometimes. But I just pray and ask God for protection.”

When asked if he considers himself a troll, Daniel Regha said:

I’m not a troll. Definitely not!”

In another story, Daniel Regha reacts to viral video of Hushpuppi celebrating Tunde Ednut’s birthday from prison.

Hushpuppi, whose real name is Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, is currently serving 11-year prison sentence in the United States for money laundering.

Despite being in the prison, Hushpuppi managed to celebrate Tunde Ednut’s 38th birthday in grand style, prompting Daniel Regha to voice his concerns over the glorification of a criminal.

Daniel Regha urged Nigerians to refrain from portraying Hushpuppi as an icon or a positive role model, emphasizing that he should be treated as a criminal since he is imprisoned.
