Nigerian footballer, Victor Osimhen became a subject of online reactions on Wednesday, February 29, as a video of him repairing his opponent’s goal net during Napoli’s match against Sassuolo went viral.
Napoli had defeated Sassuolo in a comfortable 6-1 win, with Osimhen bagging a hat-trick.
In the first half of the game, Sassuolo’s goalkeeper, Andrea Consigli inadvertently damaged the net while trying to save a shot from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The match was momentarily halted as Osimhen stepped into the opposition box to assist in repairing the net with a tape. Osimhen later scored two goals after this display, adding to his earlier goal in the first half.
