Popular Nigerian skit maker, Sir Balo, has shared a touching experience with the late Nollywood actor, Mr Ibu, who passed away on March 2, 2024, after suffering a cardiac arrest during surgery.

The news of Mr Ibu’s demise has left a deep wound in the hearts of many, especially those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Sir Balo reminisced about the first encounter he had with Mr Ibu back in 2014 at an event.

During this encounter, Sir Balo expressed his aspiration to become a video editor.

According to Sir Balo, Mr Ibu generously supported him by promptly buying him his first laptop.

Sharing his sentiments, Sir Balo mourned the loss of Mr Ibu and expressed his grief by questioning the untimely departure of good people.

He took to social media to share his memories.

He wrote;

“Why do good people die. You bought me my 1st laptop for editing in 2014 when I ran to you and asked you! Daddy, I want to learn movie editing. Rest in peace daddy.”
