- Daddy Freeze stated that his estranged wife, Opeyemi, was not “a praying wife.”
- He stated that it is better for him to marry a witch knowing quite well that she has other things to offer him than marry a praying woman
Controversial OAP Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze stirs up debate with his statement that he prefers marrying a witch to a praying wife.
Highlighting the reason why he prefers a witch to a praying woman, Daddy Freeze stated that a witch would be more useful to him than a woman who prays.
He claimed that Opeyemi, his ex-wife, was not a prayerful woman, stating that it didn’t matter to him because he didn’t need a praying wife.
He revealed that he would rather be the one praying, because even with just five minutes of prayer a day, he still receives blessings from God.
In a video message posted recently on his Instagram page, Daddy Freeze stated:
“They said a woman that prays is a valuable asset. Not to me because I can pray for myself. I walk with God in such a way that I pray five minutes a day and I get everything I asked for. Because I am always hearing from God.
“So, I don’t need a praying wife. Instead of giving me a praying wife, give me witch or a mermaid that will be useful in other areas. Leave that praying to me. I am a spirit. I don’t need a praying wife. Even my ex was never really a praying wife. If it’s prayer, she just started now. She was never a praying wife and it didn’t matter to me.”
This was in reaction to Israel DMW’s outcry on marrying a church worker thinking all would be well at home .
The couple’s marriage, which hit a breaking point in November, has been marred by a series of accusations and counter-accusations from both parties.
In his recent post, Israel DMW claimed that he initially believed Sheila to be a devout churchgoer before their marriage but asserted that her behaviour drastically changed after they became husband and wife.
Israel DMW expressed empathy for men going through challenging times in their marriages and urged them to speak out about their feelings.
In a series of revelations, he emphasized that people should not base their marriage decisions solely on religious affiliations or charitable acts.
In his words;
“Most men are really going through a lot in their marriages. They should be allowed to express their feelings. Don’t ever marry because of church or mosque. Don’t assist poor people again. They will later change and turn against you someday. Rich people are very appreciative. They are the best.”
