Amid nationwide mourning courtesy of the death of veteran Nollywood actor, John Ikechukwu Okafor alias Mr Ibu, some netizens have turned towards his wife to vent their anger.
Mr Ibu’s wife, Stella Maris who was recently spotted shedding tears as Mr Ibu’s body was being carried away became a subject of criticism due to previous reports about her.
One would recall that while the actor was seriously battling for his life, claims about Mr Ibu’s wife clamouring for an iPhone 15 to be bought for her from the actor’s donations made rounds. It was further alleged that she requested money for butt surgery, insisting that she was still young and ought to look admirable.
Stella Maris engaged Mr Ibu’s adopted daughter, Jasmine in a series of legal wars, accusing her and Mr Ibu’s son of diverting a huge amount of money (over 50 million naira) from the actor’s account.
Now, Mr Ibu is dead and the brouhaha appears to have been put on a halt at the moment as mourning creeps in.
Netizens who still remember the troubles and problems Stella Maris gave Mr Ibu while he was alive are currently accusing her of killing the movie legend.
They took to the comment section of the most recent post on her IG page to blast her mercilessly.
