Social media is buzzing with reactions as rising Nigerian artist Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN recently threw shade at Davido in his reply to one of his fans.
In response to a netizen who called him “mid,” BNXN, had remarked that the man had no business speaking about music since he is a Davido fan.
An X user @lifeofolaa who is a known Davido fan and uses the singer’s ‘Timeless’ album art as his cover photo, had reacted to a post about BNXN saying: “He’s mid abeg.”
His submission however infuriated BNXN, who said:
“You be retard. Knowing your fave you no suppose dey speak on anything regarding music. Fem!”.
Even after BNXN removed the tweet, internet users persisted in criticizing him for making fun of Davido while bantering with one of his fans.

In a widely circulated video online, the singer was initially seen performing energetically to an enthusiastic crowd before stumbling off the stage just seconds later.
While onstage singing and moving around, he unknowingly slipped, causing one of his legs to go off the stage, resulting in his fall.
As he fell, the voices of his shocked fans could be heard in the background.
Nevertheless, Buju BNXN quickly stood up after the significant fall, smiled and continued his performance on stage.
