Days before the much-anticipated fight, Drake took to his Instagram page to showcase the considerable amount of cash he had placed on Ngannou, emphasizing his confidence in the “scary man.”
“Betting on a scary man @stake,” Drake captioned the post.
However, fate had different plans for the rapper, as Anthony Joshua’s dominant performance resulted in a swift victory over Ngannou.
The knockout was so impactful that Ngannou required immediate medical attention, and Drake, unfortunately, had to face the consequences of his unsuccessful bet.
