Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon reveals that he would have pursued a career as a pastor if he had not chosen to become an actor.

In a recent interview with Pulse, Deyemi Okanlawon shared that his passion for connecting with audience ultimately led him down the path of acting instead.

“I don’t think I can call it a career path, it would have been more of a calling. I think I would have been a pastor [if I wasn’t an actor],” he said.

He clarified that, in contrast to rumors that he is abusive due to some of the roles he has performed in movies, he opposes domestic violence.

The actor claimed that the most absurd thing people have ever said about him is that he is expensive to hire.

He however, clarified that it’s not a rumor.

In another story, Deyemi Okanlawon  tears up as Adesua Etomi, Kunle Remi surprises him.

The new father of three was deeply moved to wake up to a substantial financial gift from them, receiving a significant N200,000 in support of his project.
