Nigerian skit maker, Shank Comics was visibly distraught after allegedly receiving a security warning from Davido, advising American YouTuber, Kai Cenat to cancel their visit to a particular location.
Kai had been in Nigeria for several days, under the care of Shank, with the duo and other notable entertainers exploring various locations in Lagos.
However, their proposed visit to a studio where Shank had invested significant funds was disrupted by a call purportedly from Davido.
During one of Kai Cenat’s live streams, an associate informed them about concerns raised by Davido regarding the safety of the location.
Despite Shank’s insistence on the location’s safety, the caller reiterated the team’s unease, mentioning their dissatisfaction with the tour thus far, including their visit to the well-known Lagos slum, Makoko.
Shank was undoubtedly disappointed by the security warning, expressing his frustration over the time and resources invested in organizing the show. He also voiced concerns about disappointing the attendees who were eagerly awaiting their arrival at the studio.
Although Kai Cenat offered to cover the incurred costs, Shank was unable to contain his emotions as he broke down in tears and eventually decided to leave, stepping out of the vehicle and departing from the streamer and his team.
