A leaked chat between Nigerian skit maker and content creator, Lord Lamba, and his baby mama, BBNaija star Queen Mercy Atang, has sent shockwaves across the internet.

The leaked conversation began with Promise Kelvin Anagbogu a.k.a Lord Lamba extending congratulations to Queen on her engagement and expressing his desire for a co-parenting arrangement for their daughter, Keila.

Lord Lamba stated that he had attempted to reach out to Queen for matters concerning their child but hadn’t received responses, leading him to resort to legal measures if necessary to secure his parental rights.

He said; “Hi Queen I have been trying to reach out to you, I sent you some funds for upkeep you didn’t reply, I wanted to see my child you didn’t reply either, got information about your engagement, congratulations anyways but now is when I need close attention to my child, so your husband to be is not seen as the father, you have to understand am doing all these for the sake of my daughter it is my right, we will have to result in consulting the law for a proper co-parenting of our child. Congratulations once again.”

However, Queen’s response revealed a different narrative. She disclosed that Lord Lamba had only provided a mere N150,000 for the upkeep of their daughter since January.

Queen expressed her astonishment at Lord Lamba’s sudden interest in their daughter’s well-being after months of neglect and alleged begging for his involvement.

Queen wrote: “Since after Keilah’s birthday to almost the end of January, you have sent your daughter only 150k for upkeep, you’ve not bothered about the wellbeing of your daughter Keilah. Neither have you asked about her or bothered to check up on her… ……you’re never tired of lies. I’m still surprised you suddenly want to be close to your child, after so much begging from months back.”

The leaked exchange swiftly circulated across the internet, drawing sharp criticism from netizens who condemned Lord Lamba’s apparent lack of responsibility towards his child prior to the engagement announcement.
