Davido, the Afrobeats sensation, has captivated fans with a stunning visual spectacle with the unveiling of the music video for his chart-topping hit ‘Away’.

Taking to social media on Tuesday, the superstar artist thrilled audiences with the announcement of the video’s long-awaited release.

‘Away’ is a standout single from ‘Timeless’, Davido’s fourth studio album.

In the video, viewers are taken on a lavish journey as Davido and his entourage jet-set across the globe, boarding private jets and yachts while indulging in champagne celebrations.

The stunning visuals capture moments from Davido’s just concluded ‘Timeless’ concert.

The video also featured Real Madrid stars like Vinicius Jr, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Jude Bellingham, Toni Rudiger, and David Alaba.

Davido has received an avalanche of awards and recognition globally for his talent.

The OBO  Crooner rose to prominence with his 2012 hit ‘Dami Duro’.

He released ‘Timeless’, his fourth studio album, in March 2023.

In March 2023, Davido rebranded his music label and commenced a new era dubbed DMW 2.0.

He also announced the signing of Olori alongside Morravey to his record label.

In a milestone achievement last year, Davido received his first Grammy Awards nomination, securing nods in three distinguished categories.

Among these were the prestigious ‘Best Global Album’ accolade for his acclaimed masterpiece, ‘Timeless’. Additionally, his enthralling track ‘Unavailable’ garnered recognition in the ‘Best African Performance’ category, while the infectious rhythm of ‘Feel’ earned him a nomination for ‘Best Global Music Performance’.

Despite the anticipation and fervent hopes surrounding his debut at the esteemed awards ceremony, Davido, unfortunately, did not clinch victory in any of his nominated categories during the recently concluded Grammy Awards.
