Solid Star, having overcome his addiction, shared his tumultuous journey with drug substances during a recent interview on the Honest Bunch podcast with media personality Nedu Wazobia, others.
Recalling a pivotal moment in 2001, he revealed how negative influences introduced him to hard drugs, leading to severe mental health issues.
Solid Star vividly described how the substances would dictate his actions, even compelled him to undertake arduous treks across Lagos.

The music star is back again as he drops a new song, “Sonto”, which he describes as “a piece of my heart poured into every beat and lyric.”
Expressing deep remorse, he humbly extended his apologies to his devoted fanbase and to anyone he may have inadvertently caused pain or offense to during the shadows of his darkest moments.
“I am far from perfect, but I am committed to growth, empathy, and understanding. Please forgive me, in your own time and in your own way,” he said.
