In an electrifying chat with Kiss FM, UK, Ayra Starr revealed details about Chris Brown’s exclusive invitation for her to join him on his highly anticipated music tour.
The ‘Rush’ hitmaker, poised to dazzle audiences as a special guest on Chris Brown’s epic “11:11” tour across the United States and Canada, said she couldn’t contain her excitement when she received the thrilling news during Grammy week.
Ayra Starr didn’t miss a beat as she took the chance to shower praise on Chris Brown, emphatically stated that he has been a staunch supporter of African artists.
The Mavin star said;
“I first heard about it [my tour with Chris Brown] during the Grammy week. I was super excited. No, I didn’t cry. I would probably cry during my first performance at the tour when I see everybody [laughs].
“Chris Brown has been a fan of African music for a long time. He has been very supportive. He has always been supporting the culture and it is really beautiful to see.
“It is exciting to see African music get recognised globally. It has been a long time coming. African music has been popping. African music has been doing it in Africa. Actually, Afrobeats has always been the best genre in the world.”

The 26-city tour will kick off in Detriot on June 4 and will be making stops in Chicago, New York, Toronto, Atlanta, Houston, and more before wrapping up in Los Angeles on August 6.
