Nollywood actress, Mimi Orjiekwe faced embarrassment when her daughter, Jasmine, inadvertently exposed her use of filters to enhance her appearance in a video shared on Instagram.

The funny video captured the mother and daughter in a car, but Jasmine’s behaviour disrupted the moment.

While Mimi recorded content for her vast following, Jasmine bluntly disclosed her mother’s reliance on filters, cautioning viewers not to be carried away by her looks.

“She is using a filter, she is seriously using a filter. Guys don’t trust her. Don’t trust her, she is using a filter”, Jasmine reiterated in the video, highlighting the discrepancy between Mimi’s real appearance and her filtered portrayal.

Mimi, taken aback by her daughter’s behaviour, questioned why Jasmine was attempting to make a mess of her career.

Exclaiming, she said: “What is going on here? My own child is trying to mess up my career.”

In her Instagram caption, Mimi expressed her embarrassment over the incident, lamenting how Jasmine’s revelation jeopardised her influencer persona.

She wrote:
