Nollywood actor Kenneth Okonkwo sounds the alarm on the growing threat of anarchy in Nigeria, criticizes the present government.
Kenneth Okonkwo expressed his concerns about the current state of affairs in the country, claiming that Tinubu’s actions are exacerbating the situation even further than President Muhammadu Buhari’s policies.
He chastised President Tinubu for allowing his children to appear before Ministers in the Order of Protocols, during his visit to Qatar earlier this month.
He also accused Tinubu of nepotism and asserted that his nine-month government has been worse than that of his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari.
Speaking with Channels Television’s host Seun Okinbaloye in a recent interview, he said:
“Anarchy looms in Nigeria. Nigeria isn’t Lagos where you sit down and decree things, and you expect it to work that way.
“You don’t compare gold with carrots.
“I thought Buhari’s regime was going to be the worst, but the nine months of this present government has surpassed it.
“Do you know what it means when you place your children in order of protocols before the Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria? What do you call that? You allowed someone to come into Aso Rock, sitting on the Coat of Arms to call our military men thieves.
“This government in terms of appointment is just concentrating not even on South West but on the Lagos axis of his Jagabanic proteges”.
Before the 2023 general election, Actor Kenneth Okonkwo reacts to viral video of Tinubu accusing Buhari govt of trying to scuttle election.
In videos making the rounds, Tinubu, during a campaign rally in Ogun State on Wednesday, told supporters that the redesigning of the new Naira notes and fuel scarcity are all attempts to sabotage the election, but he will still win the election.
Reacting, Spokesperson of the Labour Party (LP) presidential campaign council, Kenneth Okonkwo said Nigerians can no longer tolerate the disunity in APC whose candidate is accusing Buhari of bad policies and insincerity of purpose.
According to him, Tinubu’s assessment shows that Buhari has woefully failed Nigerians and has become a threat to the country’s democracy.
The movie star added that the APC, its leaders, and the presidential candidate, have become a shame and embarrassment to Nigerians.
