Nigerian music sensation, Iyanya found himself embroiled in controversy after an online user, identified as @ANTIAPE1 on the microblogging platform, X, accused him of claiming to have slept with Florence, a lady he met at Davido’s Timeless concert last year, before gifting her an iPhone.
Expressing his disbelief and indignation, Iyanya vehemently denied the allegation, questioning where such a statement originated from.
He expressed his dismay at the effort of a woman attempting to slander another lady.
Iyanya challenged the X user to provide evidence to support her claim, daring her to produce a video where he made such a remark.
His reaction was terse and assertive: “Are you mad or something? Where did I say such a thing? How can a woman be trying to be evil towards another woman? Post a video where I said that fool.”
