Nancy Isime emerges as Africa’s Rising Star at the Ikon Awards

• Top Nigerian acts, Nancy Isime, Osita Iheme ‘PawPaw’ and Ramsey Nouah graced the recently concluded Ikon Awards, Uganda.
• Nancy Isime clinched the Africa Rising Star award and proudly took to the photo and video sharing platform, Instagram to flaunt her latest achievement.
• The actress wore a signature dress made with cowrie shells and head over to match.

Media personality cum film actress Nancy Isime’s talents is being recognized both home and abroad. Proof of that was seen at a recent award ceremony in Uganda, called the Ikon Awards, where Nancy Isime was awarded as Africa’s Rising Star.

This category is not a small feat to achieve because it encompasses all African actors as a whole. Osita Iheme better known as PawPaw who also won an award and Ramsey Nouah were also present at the award giving event.

In the post she made on Instagram to celebrate her win, Nancy Isime wrote:

Nancy Isime has been in the game for almost a decade, and she has put in a lot of work in her craft. Just recently, she got an award from the NAACP Awards, alongside actor Kunle Remi, who won the trailblazer award.

Apart from acting, Nancy Isime also works as a host, and has hosted a lot of award shows, including the Ikon Awards in Uganda. She also has her own TV show, where she hosts celebrities and they discuss various topics.
