50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend and baby mama Daphne Joy has publicly accused the rapper of rape and assault.
These allegations came on the back of reports suggesting that 50 Cent was aiming for sole custody of their son, following Joy’s involvement in a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Taking to Instagram, Daphne Joy expressed her frustration with 50 Cent’s alleged negligence as a father and accused him of rape and physical assault during their time together.
“We moved to New York to give you the opportunity to be a father to your son and you saw him 10 times out of the 2 years that we lived 1 mile away from you.
“I am tired of upholding and protecting an image to our son that you have never even earned.
“Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on.
“You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false slams made against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time” she wrote.
In response to Joy’s allegations, 50 Cent swiftly denied the claims through a statement issued by his representative.
He suggested that Joy’s accusations were merely motivated by his decision to seek sole custody of their son, Sire.
50 Cent clarified that his primary concern was the well-being and safety of their 12-year-old son, especially taking into account Lil Rod’s lawsuit against Diddy, wherein Joy was implicated.
“The most recent false and baseless accusations by Daphne Joy are clearly in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son.
“My son, Sire is my main priority and keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time,” the statement read.
