“Nobody has the right to tell me to do DNA test for my son, unless I wish to” – Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi roars

Wunmi slammed people clamoring for her to conduct a DNA test on her son, Liam

The spotlight returns to Wunmi, the wife of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, as she faces scrutiny over demands for a DNA test on her son, Liam.

Recall that Wunmi recently appealed online for assistance from Nigerians to persuade Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, to obtain a court order for a DNA test to ascertain Liam’s paternity.

In a recent development, Wunmi vehemently criticized those questioning her about the DNA test.

In an audio recording circulating online, Wunmi engaged in a conversation, asserting that Mohbad was the only man she had been intimate with, emphasizing that he deflowered her and was her husband until his demise.

She adamantly defended her maternal status, declaring that no one had the right to compel her to conduct a DNA test for her son, Liam, unless she wishes to. Wunmi pledged to safeguard her son, Liam, from experiencing the same fate as his late father.

Expressing her frustration, Wunmi rebuked those insisting on a DNA test, condemning their interference in her personal affairs.

She said:

“Mohbad was my husband till his death, he put a ring on my finger and he’s the one who took my chastity and he is the only man I have slept with. Now I am saying it publicly that I am the mother of my child and none of you all have any right to tell me to do DNA except I wish to do it. You’re all mad and you won’t die well. Liam will never be a victim like his father,I promise you all that, he will be a victory. I gave birth to him! Are you all mad? This child that I laboured for seven days to deliver him! Who are you all? Jesus has been fighting for me since all these days. I don’t have any money to give bloggers but all widows and honest men have been surrounding me.”
