Popular Nigerian blogger, Tunde Ednut, has expressed his joy over the release of his close friend and activist, Verydarkman, following his recent detention by the Nigerian police.
Verydarkman was arrested by the authorities on March 22nd on allegations of cyberbullying Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh.
This arrest came in the wake of a heated online exchange between Verydarkman and Bobrisky, a controversial transvestite figure.
The public became aware of the stringent bail conditions required for Verydarkman’s release shortly after his arrest.
However, after spending time in police custody, he has now been set free, much to the delight of his supporters and friends.
Taking to his Instagram page, Tunde Ednut couldn’t contain his excitement as he welcomed Verydarkman, back home.
In a cryptic post, Ednut hinted at the influential figures who stood by Verydarkman, during his trying times with the police.
While avoiding direct mention of names, Tunde Ednut wrote;
“Don’t Plaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! Welcome back home…. Men dey behind scene. You enter, dem go comot you. Strong men dey! Make I no mention too many names…. 🤣 You can know some of them from my previous post.”
