With proof, Tiwa Savage addresses claims she dislikes collaborating with female artistes

Tiwa Savage breaks silence on not featuring female colleagues on songs

Songstress, Tiwa Savage has addressed claims that she does not like collaborating with female artistes.

The 44-year-old has been accused of refusing to collaborate with her female counterparts on several occasions mostly because she does not have a song with Yemi Alade.

However, on Monday a music blogger shared clips of the many female collaborations in the African music industry on Instagram, in which Tiwa was mentioned in many.

Reacting to the post, Tiwa Savage pointed out that she has the most collaboration with a female artiste. She wrote:

“But they ALWAYS want to say TIWA SAVAGE does not like or support female artists. Please who has more female collabs and There is sooo many more not even listed here. Yall miss me with that bull sh$t narrative, I dey hustle … money on my mind.”

After sharing that write up, Tiwa Savage went on to post clips from songs she has done with other female artists.

Some of Tiwa’s collaborations with other female singers include ‘Onye’ featuring Waje, ‘Stamina’ featuring Arya Starr, ‘Tales By Moonlight’ featuring Amaarae, ‘Yes I Do’ with Ghanaian singer Becca and ‘Men Are Crazy’ featuring Simi which will be released on Friday.

Despite the fact that Tiwa Savage shared evidence that shows that she has worked with other female artists, she has had her fair share of rifts with them. One of the most prominent beefs Tiwa Savage has had is with Seyi Shay, and it was a messy one at that.

There was also a bit of friction between Tiwa and Yemi Alade, but some might argue that it was simply their fans goading and pitting them against each other.

Apart from Seyi Shay and Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage has been on pretty good terms with other female artists, at least in the public eye. She also lives quite a simple life, and keeps out of the negative side of press most times, but as a celebrity, it is difficult to do so completely.
