Ilebaye Odiniya, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 8, has officially confirmed that she has received her prize money.
The reality TV star pocketed an impressive N120 million after emerging victorious in the All-Star edition of the popular show last October.
During a recent Instagram live session with her fans, Ilebaye shared the news, stating that the prize money had indeed made its way into her hands.
Ilebaye’s revelation followed a public outcry by Phyna, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7 who claimed that she had not yet received the N100 million she won from the show back in 2022.
Ilebaye said:
“I have received my [BBNaija prize] money. I haven’t even touched a tiny part of it. My money hasn’t finished. I haven’t touched my prize money. And this is a fact.”
Recall that few days ago, Ilebaye bragged that she has not touched her N120m BBNaija money yet.

In a heart-to-heart discussion with her followers, Ilebaye responded to a follower’s comment suggesting that she appeared financially strained compared to her peers in the entertainment industry.
She stressed that one’s financial well-being should not be solely judged by the luxury items displayed on social media.
Ilebaye went on to reveal that the N120 million grand prize she won from the BBNaija All Stars edition remains untouched and safely stored.
She expressed gratitude to the show’s organizers for the life-changing opportunity that has contributed to her newfound wealth.
