- In a recent interview, Brymo stated that he doesn’t believe in the way religious men defines hell
- He stated that even if he finds himself in hell, he desires to go alone as he goes everywhere alone.
Nigerian singer Olawale Oloforo better known as Brymo has boldly challenged conventional beliefs about hell.
Brymo stated that Religious hell doesn’t exist, the singer expressed his disbelief in the fiery afterlife often depicted in religious texts. He questioned the very existence of this dreaded place.
He emphasized that if, by some cosmic twist, he found himself in hell, he wouldn’t be dragging anyone along.
In an interview on “Curiosity Made Me Ask” hosted by skitmaker, Isbae U, Brymo said:
“I don’t think religious hell exists. I wouldn’t take anybody with me when I go to hell.
Why will I go with somebody? I have to go alone, I go everywhere alone”.
Brymo also stated during the interview that he would rather go to hell than sign with Wizkid, Davido or Burna Boy .
Despite Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy being regarded as the biggest names in Afrobeats, Brymo said he would rather “go to hell” than sign with any of their labels.
The ‘Ara’ crooner featured as a guest on the latest episode of the Bae U Barbie show, ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask.’ In Brymo’s words:
“I am the finest vocalist on the continent. I am better than anybody on the continent. I am a better songwriter, I’m the best.”
“I would rather go to hell than sign to Wizkid, Davido or Burna Boy.”
“I’m not proud enough. I’m probably the finest vocalist on the continent. Better than anybody. I’m not thinking. I know this,” he said.
“And yeah, even Twitter guys can’t disagree with him despite the hate. You can win an Award, but that doesn’t mean you’re the best man for that award.”
