Why African youths who insult their parents will end up struggling in life – film maker Ugezu Ugezu

Ugezu Ugezu reveals why disrespectful youths will often find themselves struggling

Renowned filmmaker Ugezu Ugezu sheds light on the consequences faced by African youths who disrespect their parents.

His insights emphasize the importance of cultural values and respectful communication.

He stated that a significant percentage of today’s youth has adopted insult as a weapon for defense and intimidation. This trend, according to Ugezu Ugezu, is a tragedy that warrants attention.

Specifically, he focuses on the African context, where traditional values play a crucial role.

He stated that in African philosophy, a child who insults their parents is unlikely to struggle.

Ugezu Ugezu asserts that such disrespectful behavior hinders their journey into parenthood. Even if they do become parents by divine providence, their progress in life remains stunted.

In his words:

The disturbing tragedy that has befallen a significant percentage of the youth is that they have adopted insult as a weapon of defense and intimidation. In the rooted African Philosophy, a child who insults his parents hardly becomes a parent.

When he/she manages to become a parent by divine providence, they hardly record any progress in life.

They will end up struggling in life and living in penury. People of African origin should be guided. As you get westernized in all your conducts, recall your root.”
