Funke Akindele tells her side of the story after late Jumoke Aderounmu’s brother called her out

Nigerian actress cum filmmaker, Funke Akindele has told her side of the story over claims of abandoning the late Jumoke Aderounmu.

Following the actress’ demise, her brother had tackled Funke Akindele for publicly mourning her when she had abandoned his sister during her dying moments.

Calling her out over her fake love and hypocrisy, he revealed that his sister had put a call through to Funke several times and had reached out to her through her friends but she didn’t turn up for her.

Questioning what the eye service is for, he added that it is now she is dead, the mother of two is showing fake love.

Taking to her Instagram Live moments ago, Funke Akindele tearfully noted how she lost her mother, marriage, and politics and is trying to get her life back together. She shared how someone commented on her page praying that she would bury her children while questioning what she did wrong.

Funke claimed that while Jumoke was alive, she reached out to Jide Awobona to ask about her and he got back to her saying Jumoke wanted people to be calling her for jobs.

She stated that she saw Jumoke’s brother post that she abandoned the actress, which is untrue. Funke disclosed that she sent him a message but he didn’t respond and nobody told her Jumoke was sick.

Funke Akindele said in part:

“Someone made a comment on my page just now that I will bury my children. What have I done wrong? When Jumoke was alive, I reached out to Jide to ask about her and he got back to me that Jummy wanted people to be calling her for jobs.

I saw Jummy’s brother’s post online yesterday that I abandoned her. I sent him a message but he didn’t respond. Nobody told me that Jummy was sick. I don’t beef any filmmaker. I have my trying moments too. I lost my mother, marriage, politics, etc. I am trying to get my life back together”.
