Actor Yomi Fabiyi has come forward to express his stance on the ongoing familial situation concerning the late Mohbad and DNA

In a recent interview with TVC News, Yomi Fabiyi digs into the legitimacy of the request for DNA testing by Mohbad’s relatives.

Fabiyi has stated that Mohbad’s father is within his rights to seek a DNA test to confirm the paternity of his grandchild.

He pointed out the legal obligation of Mohbad’s bereaved spouse to submit to DNA test if so ordered by the courts. He further stated that in the current legal proceedings, no one is beyond suspicion.

He shed light on the emotional disturbance that Mohbad’s father endures and the necessity for clarity in this matter, highlighting the significance of the DNA test in providing much-needed closure.

He stated:

“Mohbad’s family has the right to ask for a DNA. His dad is carrying the burden of pain. He wants closure. The wife can’t say no if the court gives a verdict for her to do it. Everybody is a suspect in this case”.

On her official Instagram page, the movie star penned down a lengthy note to express her disappointment in Wunmi after her sister made some bold claims about the late music star.

Recall that Wunmi’s sister, Karimot, had posted a video online where she claimed Mohbad had given his wife a series of infections.

Shortly after Karimot’s video went viral, Sarah Martins used the opportunity to lambast Mohbad’s 24-year-old widow.

In an Instagram post, the movie star expressed her dismay that Wunmi’s sister dared to make such bold claims about Mohbad and that his wife allowed it. According to her, the singer’s widow has been doing too much.

Not stopping there, the Nollywood star asked Mohbad’s wife why she was scared to do a DNA test on her son, Liam. According to her, if she was in the singer’s wife’s shoes, she would have done it to clear the air.
