Omawumi Aloba, the widow of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, famously known as Mohbad, has vehemently expressed her shock and dismay regarding the recent court ruling on the paternity of her son, Liam Aloba.
WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that a magistrate court in Ikorodu, Lagos, has ordered that late singer’s wife, Wumi,, be advised of a pending DNA test application through alternative methods.
Following two unsuccessful attempts to serve her directly, the court ordered that she get notification through alternative means.
According to her lawyer, Taiwo Olawanle, Wunmi stated on Thursday, April 18, that she was uninformed of the court’s order.
GistLover, a prominent gossip blog, recently disclosed a private chat with Wumi regarding the recent court order.
Despite the judicial decree, the young widow reiterated her stance, affirming that she has not received any application from a legal firm regarding the DNA test.
She wrote;
“They didn’t send me any applications, they’re only using the media to defame me and to also make the public feel like I am running away from the DNA Test.”

Joseph Aloba had insisted that his daughter-in-law should do the test to ascertain the paternity of his grandson.
In the court statement sighted online, a Magistrate court sitting in Ikorodu area of Lagos state said that the mother of one must do the test.
