Big Brother Naija star, Neo Akpofure has addressed rumours of his romantic involvement with Mabel Makun, the estranged wife of comedian, AY Makun.
The rumour, initially hinted at by gossip blogger, Stella Dimoko Korkus suggested an affair between Neo and Mabel, allegedly contributing to the breakdown of her marriage.
Responding to a troll on Twitter, Neo vehemently denied the accusations, expressing frustration at the media for continually attempting to tarnish his reputation with baseless claims.
He vehemently rejected any involvement in the alleged affair and condemned the spread of false information about him.
In a subsequent tweet, Neo invoked divine retribution upon those spreading falsehoods about him, expressing his exasperation with the situation.
He asserted his right to live his life without unwarranted interference and vowed not to remain silent in the face of such malicious rumours any longer.
He wrote:
“Nah God go punish your papa!!!
I don’t blame you! I blame the stup! media that constantly tries to tarnish my reputation over things I know nothing about because wtf is my name doing in this conversation in the first place! I’m done ignoring, I get una time!”.
“May God punish all of you that wake up in your houses to cook rumors about me! May you continue to sit on your dreams but have just enough data to watch me live mine. Had enough of this BS!”.
