Following his second marriage, May filed for divorce from him, demanding N100 million from Judy for adultery. She had also filed a restraining order denying him access to their former matrimonial home, citing safety concerns, among others, and had gotten full custody of the kids.
During the ordeal, May Edochie, the daughter-in-law of Pete Edochie lost her first son, in January 2023 after he allegedly slumped and developed seizures while playing football.
Last year, Judy Austin had shed light on how she met Yul Edochie, claiming that she met Yul years after her first marriage was dissolved in 2013.
The fast-rising actress claimed the reports that circulated about her cheating on her former husband were false.
When Yul returned to work 3 months after his son’s death, Judy defended him, telling them to allow her husband to breathe as they don’t know what he went through behind closed doors.
She stated that he left home in unbearable pain and had to go back to work to take care of his family and spilled that he had been going through a lot for over a year.
