Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Baci has reacted to allegations made by influencer VeryDarkMan, who accused her of defrauding followers who paid for her cooking training program.
VeryDarkMan claimed that Hilda had accepted money from students who were not subsequently added to the teaching class.
He affirmed that this behaviour could be interpreted as “obtaining under false pretence,” labelling it as fraud.
In his video, VeryDarkMan expressed his disappointment, stating that her actions risked tarnishing her brand’s reputation. He emphasized that accepting payment for a service and failing to deliver on it constituted fraud, urging Baci to address the issue.
He pointed out that Baci had collected payments for an online cooking class scheduled to commence on March 22nd, but failed to initiate it as promised. He highlighted the frustration expressed by numerous women in the comment section of Baci’s posts, characterizing the situation as fraudulent behavior.
In response, Hilda addressed the accusations by posting a screen recording of her ongoing online cooking class.
The recording displayed the media shared on the online platform, the admission of new students, and the overall activity within the group.
In her caption, Baci revealed the substantial number of active students, recipes posted, and completed classes.
She wrote:
“5880 active students, 156 recipes already posted, comprehensive editing, class done.
Plating class done. Official assignment given. LOL.”
