Lilian Afegbai recounted her experience where she was charged a substantial sum of N22,000 for the simple task of loosening her cornrows.
The actress revealed that she had just finished shooting a film and needed to loosen her cornrows for the next set, where she was required to showcase her natural hair.
In a rush, she entered a salon in the upscale Lekki area and requested a quick service to remove her cornrows.
However, upon completion of the procedure, Afegbai was left stunned when presented with a bill totaling N22,000.
She had anticipated a significantly lower cost, estimating it to be around N8,000 to N10,000.
The sudden and substantial increase in price caught her off guard, prompting her to vent her frustration on social media.
Expressing her discontent, Lilian Afegbai pointed out the inflated prices prevalent in Lekki salons, cautioning that such practices could lead to customer backlash.
She warned that she and others might revolt against the unjustified inflation of prices.
