The body of Precious, the sound engineer who tragically lost his life alongside Jnr Pope and three others in the ill-fated boat accident on Anam River on April 10, has been exhumed.
Initially, after his body was discovered, it was laid to rest along the riverbank, in accordance with customs and traditions.
However, in the aftermath of this tragedy, Precious’s family cried out for assistance to bring back his remains to Rivers State for a proper burial.
In a recent development, Precious’s family with the support from people and the Rivers State government undertook the solemn process of exhuming his body. Some members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria were also instrumental.
