A recent report from WITHIN NIGERIA detailed the viral spread of a video featuring Davido kneeling down, visibly emotional and pleading with a woman while dressed in a strawberry-patterned pajama set, along with a photo showing him embracing the same woman from behind.

Following Wizkid’s online posting of Davido’s crying video with subtle jabs, the American model featured in the clip took to the internet to express distress over receiving death threats.

In a recent video, the American model clarified her involvement in the situation, affirming that she did not leak the contentious video online.

She explained receiving numerous death threats and emphasized that she had no intentions of causing harm to Davido or his family.

The model took responsibility for sharing the photo of herself and Davido but distanced herself from the video’s release.

She said:

“As you all know, this video that someone leaked in my camp is resurfacing on the internet with this rap beef situation and I’m getting death threats everyday and Nigeria I love how hard you go for this person, he’s a great artiste but death threats is OD and I think you guys need for me to come and tell you that I had no intention of disrespecting anyone’s wife or family, I said what I said.

“That video being leaked, I took accountability for the picture but I did not post that video, I never intended for that video to be out to the public and that’s what it is”

Continuing in the video, the US model mentioned that she had contacted Davido’s wife, Chioma, during the height of the online drama to provide her with a detailed timeline of events and how everything unfolded.

She stated that she approached Chioma with respect, conveying that she never intended any disrespect and emphasizing her longstanding support for women.
