The 39-year-old TV and radio presenter, known for her outspoken nature, lamented the harsh reality she encountered upon her return from a foreign trip.
Toke Makinwa voiced her concerns regarding the ongoing fuel scarcity and the recent hike in electricity tariffs, which have exacerbated the economic hardships faced by many Nigerians.
In a post shared on her social media page, she bemoaned the state of affairs, particularly highlighting the impact on her as an independent woman.
In her words;
“Yoooo, landed in Lagos to all this madness, petrol scarcity, electricity tariff hike, diesel prices not smiling. What is all these? Independent woman don taya [tire] o.”
