‘I’ve never been heartbroken’ – Singer, Ruger

Nigerian singer  Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger has recently revealed that he has never experienced heartbreak.

Appearing on Madame Joyce’s ‘Cocktails & Takeaways’ podcast, Ruger expressed that he eagerly anticipates getting his heart broken, stating that he wants to experience what it feels like to cry over a woman.

He stated:

“I have never been heartbroken. But I’m waiting [for it]. I know that it is going to happen at some point.

Speaking on his ideal partner, Ruger emphasized his preference for women with a good sense of humor.

He stated:

“When you’re funny, you already have 20 percent of my heart. You have to be very funny. I have to see the humour from afar then I will be moving close”.

Ruger had earlier revealed the type of ladies he cannot date .

Ruger recently shared his stance on dating during an episode of the podcast “Bahd and Boujee,” hosted by Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star, Tolani Baj and media personality, Moet Abebe.

The singer expressed his preference for dating women who are employed.

Ruger emphasized that while his partner doesn’t necessarily need to earn as much as him, she needs to have a job or occupation.

Responding to a question about whether he would date a woman who earns more than him, Ruger stated that he wouldn’t mind, although he hasn’t encountered such a situation yet.

The singer also recounted how he took his girl on a tour for a month. When asked why he didn’t take her for the entire six-month tour, he stated that she works.
