- Nigerian activist, Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan or VDM, criticized evangelist Ebuka Obi of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (ZPMO) for allegedly imprisoning a man named Ijele for 40 days over alleged defamation.
- VDM labelled Ebuka Obi as an oppressor while calling for the man’s release.
Controversial activist, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan or VDM, has called out evangelist Ebuka Obi of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (ZPMO) for allegedly locking up an innocent man for 40 days.
In a video on Instagram, VDM claimed that the evangelist locked up the man named Ijele for 40 days now because he called him a fake pastor.
VDM asked if that was how Jesus Christ would have handled such a matter, depriving the innocent man’s children of their father and his wife of her husband.
He challenged the evangelist to release Ijele if he was a true man of God.
He said:
“Pastor Ebuka Obi, you are a yeye man. You are a lie lie pastor. For those of you who don’t know this pastor, this is the pastor of Zion Outreach. Ijele has spent 40 days in prison. You locked him up because he said you are a fake pastor.
“You are depriving the guy’s children of their father and his wife of her husband because of your ego. An innocent man dey prison because one big man dey vex. How do you lock somebody up for defamation for crying out loud? Is this what Jesus Christ would do? You people collect tithe and everything, but you don’t practice what Jesus Christ told you.
“Would Jesus Christ detain somebody for calling him fake? You know how many things were done to Jesus? It’s a civil matter; you are supposed to sue him. It’s not fair. If you are a true man of God, go and release him.”
