- Late actor, Junior Pope’s family finally releases a new poster outlining his burial arrangements.
- The updated poster features tributes addressing him as a ‘husband’; in response to the uproar that trailed the previous one.
The family of the late Nollywood actor Johnpaul Obumneme Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, has released a revised poster detailing his burial arrangements.
It seems that the family finally bowed to pressure by acknowledging the deceased marital status.
Previously, an old poster surfaced online that sparked backlash due to the omission of the word ‘husband’ in the tributes section. Junior Pope’s family subsequently clarified that the viral poster was unauthorized.
This discrepancy has been rectified in the updated poster, where tributes now acknowledge Junior Pope as a son, brother, husband, father, and grandson.
According to the revised arrangements, Junior Pope is scheduled to be laid to rest on May 17, 2024, in his hometown in Enugu.
