‘Why I’ve been celibate for two years’ – Craig David

Craig David opens up on his decision to remain celibate for so long

British R&B singer Craig David has revealed that he has chosen to remain celibate for the past two years in order to address his personal issues and focus on his own healing process.

According to the singer, abstinence has not only been a way for him to take a step back, but has actually had a positive impact on his creativity as well.

Reflecting on his decision, Craig David expressed how surprised he is at how much his creativity has flourished during this period of celibacy. He described his creativity as being at its peak and reaching new heights over the past two years.

In a recent interview with TMZ, Craig David said:

It’s been two years now for me [without sex]. But funnily, much as I was like, ‘Wow!’ to myself for the moment, [my] creativity has been on a 100, on a max, for those two years”.

While acknowledging the challenges of remaining celibate, the singer shared his hope that this period of abstaining will help him prepare mentally for his next relationship.

In another news, media personality Bolanle speaks on abstinence.

She emphasized the importance of taking a step back from the physical aspects of relationships in order to build a stronger emotional connection.

She stressed how having sex can cloud judgment, making it harder to view things clearly and make wise judgments in relationships. She dispels the myth that having sex is only a lighthearted gesture, believing that the real goal of the activity is to strengthen your bond with the person you are genuinely in love with.

Bolanle highlighted the societal pressures and misconceptions surrounding s3x, while shedding light on how opting for abstinence can potentially lead to healthier and more fulfilling relationships.
