Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has spoken out against the constant comparisons between him and his fellow artists on social media.
The singer recently addressed the issue after fans on X platform compared him to his Grammy-nominated colleague, Ayra Starr.
In a message to his fans on Monday, BNXN urged them to stop fueling unnecessary rivalries, He highlighted the importance of unity and celebrating individual successes, stating:
“Stop pitting me against my friends for entertainment.”
In a follow up post, BNXN reiterated his message, showcasing his genuine and kind-hearted nature. He wrote:
“Pure heart. I’m happy for people and I wait my turn.”
Recall that BNXN and his colleague, Ruger, finally put an end to their issues, after years of being at loggerheads.
For years, BNXN and Ruger have been on each other’s tail, always debating on who is the better artist between them.
Their beef once resulted in Ruger body-shaming BNXN over his stature.
However, after years of being arch-rivals, the duo recently made a joint post, triggering a lot of comments from netizens who were obviously shocked to see the two artists team up.
The post was merely a picture of Ruger and BNXN.
Captioning the post, Ruger wrote:
“MAYBE ROMEO MUST DIE.”
Despite their previous differences, the recent photo suggests that the artists have buried the hatchet and are exploring the possibility of working together.
