He came crying – Oritsefemi recounts housing Burna Boy following fight with his mother [VIDEO]
  • Nigerian singer Oritsefemi was recently on Chude Jideonwo’s Tell-It-All talk show, and he had a lot to get off his mind.
  • While on the show, Oritsefemi spoke about Burna Boy and revealed how he accommodated him for months.
  • He stated that Burna Boy ran away from home and came to stay with him because of a misunderstanding he had with his mum.

Nigerian hitmaker and street-pop sensation Abiodun Majemite Ekele, better known as Oritsefemi, recently appeared on Chude Jideonwo’s talk show to unload many things.

During the conversation, Oritsefemi shared how he came through for Burna Boy when he had serious issues with his mum.

He shared how Burna Boy came to live with him for months because he sought ways to avoid his mum.

This interview comes days after Burna Boy shared during a live video the older artistes he sees as his OGs and appreciated them for being there for him when he needed help.

However, during the Instagram live session, Burna Boy didn’t talk about Oritsefemi at all.

During the conversation with Chude, the Double Wahala singer shared why Burna Boy left his house to stay with him.

He noted that the singer felt his mum was choking him and his house was the only place he could find solace. It was during this same interview that Oritsefemi spoke about his wife, Nabila and how he stood with her amidst her misfortunes with miscarriages.

He shared that his ex-wife suffered 21 miscarriages. Watch the clip below:

Recall Burna Boy initially sacked his mum as his manager back in 2014 after a disagreement.

On July 11, 2014, the singer announced via his X (formerly Twitter) handle that his mother would no longer be his manager.

He wrote:

“It’s been a long road to where I am today and my mother Bose Ogulu has managed me the best she could up till this point and am grateful…at this point in my life and career, it is time to let my mother be my mother and let my manager be my manager, therefore Bose Ogulu is no longer my manager.”

However, she resumed managing him since 2017.
