Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo has chimed in on the autopsy test controversy surrounding the late singer Mohbad, following the pathologist’s disclosure that the cause of death cannot be determined.
Despite over seven months of investigation into Mohbad’s passing, a recent statement from a pathologist revealed the inability to ascertain the cause of death due to the decomposing state of the body.
This news has left Nigerians disappointed as many initially hoped the mystery behind the crooner’s death would be unveiled.
Expressing his surprise and dismay, Timi Dakolo questioned the discrepancy between his understanding from crime series and the current situation.
He pondered whether he had been misled by the portrayal of forensic investigations in these series, where even after years, the cause of death could still be determined.
He wrote:
“Except all the crime Series I have been watching are lying to me, they find bodies after years of being dead and still tell us the Cause of death.”

In other news, the African Television and Foundation for Justice announced a reward of N50 million for anyone possessing credible information concerning the cause of Mohbad’s death.
The foundation, renowned for its commitment to seeking justice, has now stepped in.
Speaking, a man who represented the foundation noted that they are appealing to individuals who may possess useful information on Mohbad’s killers to come forward.
Recognizing the significance of the information, he pledged not only a substantial cash reward of N50M but also to ensure the safety of the informant by arranging for them to travel abroad.
The man reiterated the foundation’s commitment to seek justice for late Mohbad, noting that the legal system in the country isn’t doing well.
