- Oritsefemi has continued to spill messy details about his estranged wife, marriage and those involved.
- The singer claimed actress Caroline Danjuma was legally married to Davido’s friend, late Tagbo.
- He also claimed she was the one who instigated his wife to marry him.
Nigerian hitmaker and street-pop sensation Abiodun Majemite Ekele, better known as Oritsefemi, recently appeared on Chude Jideonwo’s talk show to unload many things.
He claimed that Nollywood actress, Caroline Danjuma, also known as Carolyna Hutchings, was legally married to Davido’s late friend and associate, Tagbo Umeike.
According to him, he never wanted to marry his estranged wife, Nabila Fash, but she pressured him into marrying her after Caroline told her to do so following her marriage to Tagbo.
It was in this same interview that Oritsefemi had claimed that Nabila had about 21 miscarriages.
Speaking in the candid chat, Oritsefemi said:
“I told my ex-wife that I only need a baby boy. That was our agreement. I never intended to marry her. It was Caroline Danjuma. Caroline went and did a court wedding with the late Tagbo. After the wedding, she told Nabila that she had married Tagbo and urged her to make sure I marry her.
“It was Caroline who advised Nabila to get married to me. She said I am a rough diamond and that Nabila’s success was lying on me. So that was it. When she asked me that she wanted to marry me, I accepted because she had had about three miscarriages for me.”
Recall Tagbo died on his birthday, October 3, 2017, while he was reportedly partying with Davido and other friends.
Caroline Danjuma had confronted Davido over his death on social media, which led to the singer denying the allegations and urging her to “save your drama” on his hit song, ‘Fia’.
An autopsy result later revealed that alcohol was a substantial factor in Tagbo’s death.
The result showed that he had alcohol and drugs in his system capable of easing a person into the early stages of hypothermia and eventual death.
