Afrobeats singer D’banj shares his thoughts on navigating the challenges of fame, particularly when it comes to adoring female fans.

In a recent interview on TVC’s ‘Your View‘, the singer revealed that while female fans may throw themselves at him, he remains oblivious to their advances.

When asked if women often try to get close to him, D’banj chuckled and nodded in agreement. However, he emphasized that he doesn’t give them much attention.

One of the hosts asked him:

Do women really always put that pressure on you and want to be around you? Do they throw themselves at you?”

D’banj replied:

“I’m unavailable, dem no dey see me.”

D’banj credits his wife, Lineo, with keeping him grounded and aware of his surroundings.

According to D’banj, Lineo often points out female fans who try to get his attention, he said:

My wife is usually the one that sees them and when we get home she’d be like ‘That one there and that one too was there,’ and I’d be like, ‘Oh you saw them? I didn’t see them.”

D’banj acknowledged that having fans comes with the territory of being a celebrity, but he’s grateful to have a partner like Lineo who keeps him focused.

He Emphasized on how important communication is in a relationship and how crucial it is for one to marry their best friend.
