Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has strongly criticized her colleague Zubby Michael for publicly showcasing his donation to the family of their late colleague, Junior Pope.
A viral video on social media had shown Zubby Michael making a donation to Junior Pope’s widow, Jennifer Awele, and their children.
Angela Okorie condemned Michael’s actions, stating that publicizing the donation was insensitive and inappropriate.
She emphasized that a young person’s funeral is not the right occasion to display wealth.
On her Instagram story, she wrote:
“Zubby na young person die, that showcase of money wasn’t necessary. But as a local boy that you are, you don’t have sense. You don’t know where to do show and where to behave well.
“Abi you get money pass all the dignitaries wey come there? Mugu.”
Angela Okorie had earlier blasted Zubby Michael for rocking red T-shirt to Junior Pope’s funeral.
She implied that Zubby’s attendance was motivated more by her ongoing criticism than genuine affection for the deceased.
The actress openly lamented her absence, noting her current location abroad. She firmly asserted that if she had been there, she would have undoubtedly caused a stir.
She wrote:
“Zubby no go that burial because he too love Junior pop o, Na Propaganda he Dey do Cos I don drag am pass I pass my Nabour generator, Nigga wear red go burial like say na ogwuego meeting he Dey go.
